Why Virtual?
Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, Virginia Tech will be making adjustments to on-campus events and activities. However, the HTM Department remains committed to connecting students and recruiters in a professional setting. In order to uphold this commitment and also maintain student, employer, and faculty health, Careerscope will be hosting a virtual fair during the 2020 Fall semester! How does an online career fair work?
Careerscope will be hosted on the virtual platform, Brazen, which allows students to interact with companies via either text chats and/or 1-1 video chats. Please prepare for both, as it is up to the employer which form of chat they utilize.
How do I access the fair?
FOR RECRUITERS: Recruiters will need to Register a booth for the event. A confirmation email will be sent upon completing the form along with a link for payment. A follow up email with information on how to create your virtual booth via Brazen will be sent within 24 hours of registering.
FOR STUDENTS: Students will need to:
1) Complete registration for Wednesday night via Zoom.
(2) Complete separate registration for Thursday Careerfair via Brazen
